Bitcoin.com is a Roger Ver‘s company, often criticized for continued attempts to hijack the Bitcoin brand. Using a prominent domain name that many people would visit to find “official” information about Bitcoin (by analogy with companies), Bitcoin.com is selling a Bitcoin fork, Bcash (ticker: BCH), also known as Bitcoin Cash.

If you follow their “Buy Bitcoin” prompt, it will sell you BCH (not Bitcoin) instead of BTC.
