Jeff Garzik was a Bitcoin Core contributor up to 2014. Now he is CEO and co-founder of Bloq.

Garzik is also known as the sole developer appointed to be responsible for SegWit2x hard fork, which was touted as “upgrade” without consulting or involving any Bitcoin Core developers.
